After months of consistently recording Covid-19 deaths on daily basis, Nigeria is reporting only 1 fatality in the last 24 hours. This leaves the Covid-19 national death toll at 956.
Meanwhile, 22 states have recorded 423 new Covid-19 infections bringing the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 47,290.
The 423 new Covid-19 cases recorded are in Lagos-117; FCT-40; Ondo-35; Rivers-28; Osun-24; Benue-21; Abia and Ogun-19 each; Ebonyi-18.
Delta and Kwara have 17 cases each; Kaduna-15; Anambra-14; Ekiti-11; Kano-9; Imo-6; Gombe-4; Oyo and Taraba-3 each; Bauchi, Edo and Nasarawa-1 each
There are 263 more Covid-19 patients discharged across Nigeria with the total number of successfully treated cases now 33,609.
