Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma has inaugurated some major roads within the Owerri Municipal Council. He said the roads are to stimulate the state’s economy and improve the life of the people.
Some of the roads inaugurated are Douglas Road, Thomas Moore, Port Harcourt Road, Aladinma Estate Road among others.
Performing the ceremony, Governor Uzodimma explained that some of the roads are federal roads, but strategic in the integral programmes of the State Government.
The Governor commended the contractors for the prompt delivery, and quality of job done. He also seized the opportunity to inspect several other on-going road projects, including canals, and promised that soon, most of the projects embarked upon by the State Government would be delivered.
