kai Havertz to Chelsea a Done Deal?

Chelsea agree to Bayer Leverkusen Kai Havertz condition over transfer announcement.

Chelsea have agreed to Bayer Leverkusen's condition for the sale of Kai Havertz.

Chelsea have reportedly accepted Bayer Leverkusen's condition that they cannot announce the signing of Kai Havertz until after their Europa League campaign comes to an end.

The Blues are locked in talks with the Bundesliga side over a £90million transfer.

Frank Lampard's side do not want to spend more than £70m up front and are negotiating a way to pay the remaining balance in instalments.

New boys Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner have already linked up with the Chelsea squad after completing their moves.

Werner turned down the chance to represent RB Leipzig in the latter stages of the Champions League to move to west London early.

But Havertz will not be afforded such luxury as the 21-year-old is needed for Leverkusen's Europa League campaign, which continues with their last-16 second-leg clash against Rangers.

If the two clubs come to an agreement over the fee before the UEFA tournament restarts they will hold off an announcement, according to TEAMtalk.
